Moblin is an enemy type in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
A Moblin will most commonly attack by swinging its weapon in groups of three attacks -- from one side to the other, then back again, and finally an overhead swing which exposes the weak-point gauge briefly. Elemental Moblins will send out a long linear burst of their element when the overhead swing connects with the ground.
The Moblin may also attempt to kick the player character with its right foot, which can be difficult to predict while locked on as the player is usually blocking the view.
A Moblin will attempt to "stab" the end of its weapon into the player character even if it is carrying a club and not a spear.
"Powerful foes" with weak-point gauges will generally have moves corresponding to the four combat runes, which the game prompts the player to use in defeating them. They can be defeated without use of the specified runes, but it is more difficult. A single powerful foe may or may not have moves corresponding to all four combat runes.
